Mr. Chris received his Bachelors and Masters of Architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He is a licensed architect in thirty states and has completed projects in many major cities of America. In addition, he holds a Masters of Business Administration degree.

Mr. Chris serves as Chairman/CEO of the firm and is responsible for its professional practice. His thirty years of experience include over 450 major private membership clubs and recreational projects. He has served as consultant to several major corporations in the field of recreational amenities.

In addition to design work, he is involved in the development, ownership, and operation of private clubs for his own account. This successful experience adds the practical viewpoint of the owner/manager to the design process. Mr. Chris is the majority owner of the Park City Club, an 1,100 member city club in Dallas, Texas.

The clients benefit from three decades of club experience, providing a "learning curve" of design and operating knowledge, which is unequaled in the nation.

Prior to forming his own firm in 1978, Mr. Chris served as a Director of Club Corporation of America (ClubCorp). He served as Founder and President of Architectural Designers Inc., the in-house design firm of Club Corporation of America, specializing in private clubs. Earlier he worked with a national hotel company as a project designer involved with numerous motel and hotel projects throughout the United States. Mr. Chris served five years as an Officer in the United States Navy, including two tours of duty in the Far East. He holds the Rank of Lt. Commander USNR.

Mr. Chris has written numerous articles on club design, which have appeared in Club Industry, Club Management, The Board Room and Perspective, the magazine of the National Club Association. He has provided seminars on club design for the “Club Managers Association of America” World Conference, the Canadian Golf Development seminars in Whistler, Canada, and Golf Europe in Wiesbaden, Germany, and other local and regional club groups. His most recent seminar was “The Clubhouse of the Future” presented for the “Club Managers Association of America” World Conference

Mr. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the International Interior Design Association, and the National Golf Foundation. He is listed as a Clubhouse Consultant by the National Golf Foundation, and is on the Member Advisory Council of the National Club Association. Mr. Chris was named in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in Interior Design, and Who’s Who in America.
